smith Mdl 65-3

Have a friend who wants to sell a 4 in smith mdl 65-3. Weapon is excellent with original grips. No black rings on forcing cone or cylinder. Say he fired 6 rds from it. Has box of ammo he got with it minus 6 rds.

Whats a fair price for it.

BTW, round counts, carbon rings, etc. are all superfluous and not worth a moment's thought.

Check timing, end shake, push-off, bore condition, forcing cone condition, barrel alignment, action. All else is angels dancing on the head of a pin.
