I've seen a few online references to mags that won't release cleanly, supposedly due to the mag release safety, but couldn't confirm whether this was a design issue in general or something peculiar to a particular pistol. Can anyone clarify? I am looking at the SD9 as a potential carry pistol but don't want to screw around during reloads. I would rather not have the safety, but could live with it if the mags are going to operate/release normally.
