Out of State Desert Eagle?

Hi all, new to the forums here. I have a question I can't seem to find a definitive answer to. I know the only *NEW* Desert Eagle Mark XIX I can buy here in California is the DE44CA .44 Magnum on the CADOJ's approved list. But if I find a *USED* model other than the DE44CA, ie a .50 cal or another .44 not on the list, from a seller out of state on a site such as gunbroker, can I purchase it private party and have it transferred to me through an FFL in CA? I've gotten varying responses and I'm trying to figure out where the law weighs in on this. Thanks!

No, pretty straight foreword , the gun MUST be on the roster to be transferred by the dealer from out of state, we do not have out of state PPT in california.
