    C&R link?

    Anybody have a link for where to find the application for a C&R license?

    Any particular things to note or be aware of?

    Go to http://www.atf.gov/dcof/index.htm and request F 7CR (5310.16) - Application for License (Collector of Curios and Relics) Under 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44, Firearms.

    They will mail it to you, fill it out per the instructions, send one copy back to BATF +$30, send second copy to CLEO that you refered to on the form, wait ~2 months, receive approved C&R FFL in mail.

        Now, can I find out more information as to what exactly the C&R license entitles me to, or what my rights and responsibilities are, stipulations thereof, etc.?

                  It's pretty straitforward. Basiclly a longer 4473 form but you need to include anyone else who is going to purchese firearms on that FFL #. The CLEO copy goes to the agency that gets 911 calls from the address you list on the application.

                    AFAIK, the online copy is obsolete. You have to use the paper copy that you have to order from the ATF. If you use the online version, they will send it back.

                    If you meant that you ordeed the forms online, then just follow the directions and ask questions if you run into any specific issues.
