So I am meeting someone today to make my first private party transfer (as long as I like the SR45 I'm looking at). Any recommendations for a noobie? We will be using Beach Pawn in Stanton for the FFL? Is $530 a fair price for a BNIB Ruger SR45? they are no longer on the roster so I can't pick one up from a dealer but have found them new for around $450. Thanks for the time and input.

I agree with Bob, Shouldn't worry too much about the price. Get what makes you happy, buy lots of ammo and go shoot it to your hearts content. You can look into doing SSE (May not be available next year) if you find something you can't live without and is not on roster. $530 is a fair price if you think it is. Otherwise, see if they'll consider taking less or be prepared to walk. No different than buying a used car...Comment
