    Which Sig?

    Which Sig should I get? A P6 or a new P2022?

Stuck because price is about the same. Mag capacity isn't an issue here since it is for plinking.

I have had a Sig 226 with the .22 conversion kit for quite a while. Both work great with no issues. With kit on the gun I can shoot for long periods without breaking the bank while working on improving my group and techniques. Take a look - you will love the combination.

Another vote for the P6, but inspect it first. Mine needed a bunch of new parts.

This or a Made in Germany SIG (after reunification and before 2005 production). I personally like the P220 or the P239.

P6. Good pistol that is carried a lot, but shot very little. However, that pistol didn't do much for me so I sold it and put the money toward a P220.

                P6 would be the one.

get the p6, after you buy it change the main hammer spring for a lighter one, it will help with the DA trigger pull.

I say 2022... that way you get a new gun. The 2022 is a good quality piece. I'm just not into used guns with unknown round count.... just so I can have a Sig for a few hundred less.

I have both and like both. My lady prefers the 2022, but I am still partial to the metal P6. You just have to do a thorough pre-purchase inspection, if you can. I sent mine into the factory when they had a service special last year and had it gone through. Shoots real nice.

Bottom line - either way you'll be happy!

I see you guys recommending the P6, but how is the reliability with hollow points? Do you guys have P6's or the 225? Practically the same gun but supposedly a feed ramp difference may cause reliability issues with certain hollow points.

I've had no ammo issues with mine, before or since the factory freshen-up...

What hollows are you using with it?
