    Taurus M627 Tracker cylinder question.

So uhhh, I was cleaning my Tracker while watching The Shield, and my cylinder fell out Can't get it back in, don't want to force it. Is there a catch? The little swing-out arms is still attached to the cylinder, it detached from the hole right in front of the trigger guard.

Take the screw in front of the trigger guard out, this holds the crane (swing out thing) take the crane out and then put the cylinder back on the crane and re-assemble. It sounds like the cylinder stop lug may not be doing its job well. The cylinder stop lug is the part that stick out of the frame down and forward of the cylinder release or thumb piece. You might be able to adjust this yourself or you can take it to a gunsmith who hopefully can do it without making a hackjob out of your sixgun, or you can do like me and just stick with S&W's

      Thanks for the help.

      For the record, the 627 is not a six-gun. It's a seven-gun

And it's pretty much the exact same things as my 686

        HAHAHAHAHA

Sorry, I just had a very funny picture of you just sitting there and the thing falls out making a cartoon popping sound.

Just like said above back out the screw a little and put the arm back in. You may want to use a little Locktite if you have any. Funny, that has never happened to me before . Had you taken the screw out before?

        PS
        Hows the CZ coming

Haven't taken the screw out before, I have no idea how it came out.

The CZ is still unmolested I think I'll keep it like it is now for a little while..at least until I get through a thousand rounds. If I'm not happy with it then, I'll get to polishing
