Looking for a clear 1911 magazine

It sounds a bit weird, but I am looking for a 1911 magazine that is open enough to see most of the bullets. I am currently on my second project to replicate the romeo and juliet guns with real life handguns. I have made a rapier with my 92fs berreta. Now I am doing the dagger with a smith and wesson 1911. They are not exact but I am doing my own interpretations. For example my beretta is engraved and named 9mm machete. The dagger will be named Espada. I know its a bit dorky, but i really enjoying taking a stock gun and adding bling. Thank god the 1911 I was able to buy a 50 drop in compensator and did not have to spend 600 bucks having one added like the beretta.
Anyways if anyone knows please direct to someone. Found a picture online and I will attach it.

It appears to be a Wilson 47/47D magazine with a low profile basepad and the lower witness slot enlarged. Might be easiest just to buy a mag and get the slot enlarged using a drill press or what not.

And there is a gunsmith/company in Culver City called TJ's Custom Gunworks so if it is the same one as named in that pictre then you can try to give him/them a call and see if they can sell or make you one.

I wouldn't do that to a magazine. It could cause problems. If you want a prop instead of a gun, it doesn't matter. Otherwise, go with interpretation.

It seems like he wants it for form more than function. Seems simple enough to get a machine shop to open up an existing mag like this.

It wouldn't be hard to find someone to open up a magazine on a mill, or do it yourself with a dremel and a handfile.

Having talked to several smiths and personally seen TJ's work, I would HIGHLY recommend against that option.

Cool thanks for the info guys. Its just 1 mag that I wanted for asthetics/function. I have other magazines as well. I finished everything on the gun. Except a wider magazine to expose the bullets more. Yes it was a pretty penny. That is why I only own 3 handguns. Each one is a function and style statement. I know its pretty gay to some people. But yes I like guns and I drink Lattes and I am not a ***. But I do like to tinker.
I got the grips from wicked grips. The acyrlic grips with skulls.-$95. The drop in compensator black was $60. Decorative screws $20.
OMg wait till a get a AR15. I will proably spend $4000 bucks tricking it out. Spent $850 on my beretta 92 fs with grips compensator, etc.

I thought the dagger was made from a taurus 92? Not gonna lie, I always wanted to make a dagger replica.

Will Do. I will post the pics. I could not make exact replicas because the dagger and rapier were airsoft guns. I could not find a gunsmith that could replicate the work. Truthfully their were gun smiths that could, but I could not afford to drop 3000-4000 per gun for exact replicas. So the replicas will be my own interpretation and of course functionality, price and available parts.
