    Question about G30s

I have a G21sf and love it, along with all of my other glocks! I have been looking at adding a G30sf to my collection because I know it shoots extremely well for a 45 that is that small and would be a great option for another carry gun. I like the idea of the G30s having a slimmer slide but still keeping the G30sf frame and capacity.
My question is, does the G30s still shoot as well and as accurately as the G30?

Note: I know that accuracy is mostly determined by the shooter and I'm am a very decent shooter.

It depends on the shooter, but from what I gather due to the slimmer and lighter slide, the G30s has a more noticeable recoil than the G30. I think adding a heavier recoil spring setup (19lbs) instead of the standard 17lbs should minimize it.

The short answer is yes. I own a glock 30sf and shoot it constantly. I don't own a glock 30s but have shot one. It shoots just as well but has slightly more recoil because the weight of the gun is reduced. The only real difference in accuracy is with follow up shots because of the increase in recoil. That being said there is not a that huge of difference in recoil to make it a deal breaker.

Glock 30 does have a little kick with full power loads ; The 30s is twice the felt recoil.

May I recommend taking a look a this video, this guy does all kinds of shooting with various guns and simply breaks it down.
There is a second part, and if you do some searching the May even be one for a g30sf.

Recoil sounds to be a minimal difference between the two.

One major difference and advantage the normal 30 slide has is caliber conversion: 10mm, .400 Corbon, .460 Rowland.
AFIK, there are no conversion for the 36/30S slide.

Well, that's only relevant if you ever like to convert someday.
