    I want a Caracal

I just want one. Cannot figure out why except for I like unusual things and it is a interesting looking and unique firearm. I wonder if they will ever be sold here again? Any of you ever own or try one?

I kinda wanted one until I read about the recall on the Caracal C. If the guns pose such a safety risk to the user and the company cannot find an adequate solution then I just do not have any faith in that manufacturer. As such I'll likely never purchase any of their firearms.

Same here. Very interested in the thing but the recall took the wind out of my sail. Hopefully they resolve that. I'm also very interested in the Arsenal-Strike One.

I really liked their quick acquisition sights as soon as I held one in my hand when they first appeared at SHOT. Their should stock system was pretty neat to.

Although a neat design, I worry about the long term durability and reliability of it, and whether or not I will be able to get repairs/parts for it if needed.

You couldn't pay me to have one..
I have no trust in a firearms maker that recalls the entire line of firearms that is brand new on the market..
The reviews made the gun sound good but then the guns hit the market and things just didn't work.
They rushed it..They wanted to get something into the market but failed to ensure that they worked..all the time and every time.

I got to shoot the F this weekend and it's pretty nice. Good ergo and a nice trigger. Light fairly crisp pull. Some creep but that's to be expected with a striker fire design. Low bore axis also made it easier to shoot. If they didn't have such a foul up with the C then I would have considered the F. I wonder if the Steyr is similar but with much better reliability.

It's a shame the company cannot instill any confidence in me as the F was a pretty sweet shooter. If the failure of the Caracal C doesn't dissuade you from the F then I say go for it.
