S&W Shields available and selling fast

Scored my own 9mm M&P Shield at Turner's today. While I was there another guy was buying one too; looks like they are selling fast. They had a lot of the 9mm version. Got to handle the gun; I really liked the feel, fit, and finish.

Amen to that... we shouldn't need such things on our guns. Treat all guns as if they're loaded and none of that crap is necessary.

To each his own. I did a fairly intensive CCW class several weeks ago. While I never lost situational awareness, I nevertheless found that I liked the assurance of having the LCI as a "back up" to my own attention span. It is utterly not a substitute for following the rules of safety, but it is nice to have.

But hey, too many other people trying to buy guns, bidding up the prices, getting in line, etc. Glad you are not entering the fray and making things more difficult for me.

I'm just wondering about it affecting the streamline design when concealing? I haven't handled the new one while loaded. Only seen the pictures. It shouldn't snag on a holster. Got to handle the gun today and it did feel really good! Debating between that or a glock... Hmmmm

I don't get this. What ever happened to the chamber is always loaded??
The red fin is up so I can be unsafe with my gun now?

I am not saying that this is how you treat your firearm, rogervzv, so I am not casting dispersions.

You seriously wouldn't buy a gun just because of that? Hmmmm. Cool 2 less I have to worry about being sold when I go buy mine.

Well I have an LCI on my SR9c & on an XDsc & couldn't care less. Hardly notice it, no holster interference, no CCW printing. In reality part of me likes it.

I pick up my SSE version this weekend at $495 out the door. About the same price as Turners Cali version.
