FWIW, I've had very good experience with kygunco. I bought both an M&P40 and M&P22 (CA compliant) from those folks. They have spaced out delivery per the 30 day requirements and they don't charge your CC until the gun is actually shipped. I pick up the 40 cal. on Saturday and the 22 is shipping on the 24th (my wife is DROS'ing the 22).

Same here - I don't think I can handle that "in your face" LCI. But it looks like Shields are hitting the various vendors out there, which is good.

Still can't decide between the Shield 9mm and the XD-S 9mm. So I'm going to get both to shoot and see which feels better to me. I figured I shouldn't settle on something and not try out all my options for a CCW gun. Maybe it's just an excuse to get more than one gun. But who knows, maybe neither of these fit me well and I'll move on to something else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it IS possible to take the paint off the LCI without damaging the finish isn't it?

If so, how would one go about doing that?
