Yes, the frame is common for the G17/G34/G17L/G22/G35/G24/G31.

Personally, I find that the XDm feels better in my hand than a Glock. That said, I have always been able to shoot more accurately with a Glock over a XD/XDm, stock gun vs stock gun.

I'm planning on picking up a XDm 5.25 and going to try the PRP drop in trigger for it, once I get over how much I am loving the Glock 19 I just picked up with a Lightning Strike drop in trigger, which is freakin' awesome.

I got to shoot a XDm 5.25 earlier this week that a friend just got. It is a really fun and easy shooter. Stock trigger is excellent.

Look at that warped dust cover.... wish Glock would either reinforce that area, or fix their mold cooling process. I'm still buying another G17, but every time I see that, I get pissed with Glock for not correcting that after all these years.
