A technology that doesn't work, has never worked and doesn't exist anywhere else is now required by law. Make sense?

I believe Ruger tried and it doesn't work. Microstamping has never existed outside a lab environment.

Highly doubt it. It's basically a near impossible requirement for manufacturers that are not willing to deal with the asinine requirements of the dreaded and idiotic CA "safe" roster. Just another way for the state to reduce the sale of firearms to law abiding citizens.
