Glock 9mm owners... which one and why?

I just got my GSSF Blue Label coupon in the mail and I currently own a G17 gen 3.

I'd like to stick with a 9mm for ammo and mag interchangeability (if possible), but should I go with a 19 or a 34? Gen 3 or 4? Compensated or non? I'd like your honest opinions and reasons why you feel the way you do.

My current model 17 is used for home defense and target shooting. Whatever I get may replace my 17, it all depends on which I like better. So again I'd like your opinions.

I love my Glock 26. Love the small size it is also a great carry pistol.

Same magazine would say G34 .

Gen 4 has many improvements.

If you're not fixed on mags then a gen 4 G 19.

If you're going to get a carry permit, then a G 26 is good.

No, I've only shot a 17. I owned a 17 gen 1 years ago, then this gen 3... that's it for Glocks!

Depends.

I know that for some reason I shoot the 19/23 sized frame better than either the larger or smaller ones. But that's just me. I like the sub-compacts, but can't seem to get used to the shorter grip.

Then definitely give the G19 and G26 a try. Don't be shocked if you learn you shoot either one better. And if not, you can narrow your choices to full sized ones.

Depends on purpose. If maybe CCW, then the 19 or 26. If you like the G17 grip, then the 34. But really ... you could flip a coin and be satisfied with the result
