Wow, that is a good price. That would be great for CCW practice/qualifying, since we'll be shooting a bunch.

The 'in stock' quantity is dropping..

Might pick up a case in the morning if its still available. Not sure if I want the first ammo through my new G26 to be Brown Bear though.

I have used Brown Bear in a Glock. It goes bank every time but very dirty. Works fine for cheap practice.

I've shot around 300 rounds in my Beretta with no failures of any kind and no cleaning. My Glock 17 and 34 are on steady diets of stricly Brown Bear, Tula, and Wolf. All I shoot is steel case ammo and only break my guns down after a case or so to clean. The ammo is good quality and very accurate for plinking http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=902348 I'm glad people hate steel case and talk trash about it. That means more ammo and savings for me.

Just my opinion coming from what I have heard from more experienced gun owners.

I didn't wonder why. Knew why it was cheap. As expected, they are all gone.

The good news is decent brass cased 9mm is coming down in price. PSA just had Blazer Brass for $13.49.

The main thing to check with any com-bloc ammo is whether they use corrosive primers. If so, you will have to "wash" the barrel (yes, you use water to dissolve salts before cleaning) and you will have to make sure you clean your gun immediately after any shooting.

Apart from that, plinking is plinking - the more you do it, the more fun it is; the more ammo you have, the more you do it; the less ammo costs, the more ammo you have. It's that simple.

Another quick tip. Watch for the squibs with some of this ammo. QC is not always the best, so make sure you *stop* shooting and check it out if the sound or the recoil feels funky.
