    M&P RAM

Anyone ever install one and it not change the reset at all? Is there anyway to install this incorrectly? Seems pretty straight forward. Any thoughts?
    Thanks

Its really easy to install.... Just follow the apex video on youtube. You will need a 1/8 inch roll pin punch. It definately makes the reset more noticeable, the problem i had was that there was still a second " false" reset that you could feel also. I installed the entire dcaek kit in mine and the trigger and reset are awesome. If you dont want to spring for the entire dcaek kit..... Replacing the striker block is what got rid of the false reset.

Hard to say because before I installed the striker block the false reset seemed to be more noticeable than the actual reset with just the RAM installed. Once I installed the dcaek and the false reset went away all I could feel was the real reset. I will say that it is the least noticeable reset out of all my pistols.....but it is there. Also, my pistol has a test fire date of dec 2011. I hear the newer models have a better trigger and maybe the reset on the newer ones didn't really need the RAM. My M&P 45 doesn't have a RAM available and it's reset is way more noticeable than my 9......so who knows. There seems to be a lot of variation in both accuracy and triggers in the 9 series. I will say that mine is a tack driver.....so I'll live with the skimpy reset

Yeah true. I love mine. Super accurate, over 4k rounds and not 1 failure of any type. Guess ill just live with it. Ive been shooting it the past 5 years without it so ill just suck it up.
