SW M&P SHIELD (40mm)

I am thinking about purchasing this gun for conceal carry.

I just wanted to know if anyone uses the shield for this exact purpose as well

and can give me some insight on their experience with it?

I've read that the 40mm round is "snappy" in a carry gun.

Good luck dealing with the recoil of a 40mm

I have one in 9mm and I like it enough not to resell it.

I have both, the recoil of the .40 isn't much more than the 9mm.
and yes, I do carry it concealed with a permit.

Welll I was worried about the 40 being snappy, but then I found out all you have to do is take a barrel from the 9mm and drop it into the 40 as well as a 9mm mag and then you have a 9mm.

But I mean it cant be anymore snappier then a Glock 27, which I shoot fine with.

Well,that is it's EXACT purpose. If concealed carry were not a thing, what's the point of the shield versus the full or compact size M&P?

ie; that's what it's made for.
