    CZ SP-01 Twin Unicorns

Sorry for yet another CZ thread, but I am just so excited.

Bailed a new SP-01 Tactical out of 10 day jail today from Brian Nussbaum in Burlingame. I have to say, Brian and Scott are top notch guys. They are a small shop with all the cool toys. Both guy are very professional and great to work with.

So I head straight home and strip the Tacitical butt booty nekked. Polished up the trigger and other components, threw in a set of Cagjun Gun Works goodies: firing pin, reduced power firing pin spring, reduced power firing pin block spring, 13# hammer spring, disconnector, hammer pins, reduced power trigger spring, trigger pin, and competition hammer, comp rear sight and fiber optic front sight.

Result: OMG!!!! The trigger is so light and crisp, it's unbelievable!!! I am not a "qualified gunsmith," but reading all the threads on CG and the CZ forums, I managed to do it. and I only lost one spring in the process. Good thing I ordered a spare from CGW just in case.

Straight to the range to make sure all was in working order. Below is my first magazine out of the Tactical. Smooth tack driver to say the least. My original SP-01 Safety was a little jealous. BUT, she's going to be tuned to a SAO only this weekend with more goodies from CGW. For all you CZ owners out there, you guys definitely need to give David at CGW a call. Outstanding guy, very knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful. I only called him a few times this week. haha

Sounds pretty sweet now fix you pictures so we can check it out!
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)"

David's the man. He seriously has the patience of a saint. I don't know how many times I kept bugging him, but he always managed to reply to my emails even late at night.

You must have been the guy with the big smile on his face walking out as I was walking in. Good shop and good guys to deal with.

You must be the guy picking up the 75B? I think you had called him while I was filling out the DROS last weekend.

Great acquisition glockmeister, I was checking out an SP01 at his shop a few weeks ago as well and almost pulled the trigger on one. I also agree that Brian and Scott are awesome guys to deal with.

Since you got David's disconnector get the SRS kit which comes with his new extended firing pin, adjustable fp lifter, and 85C trigger. Together with the overtravel adjustment it'll really shorten SA trigger travel and reset.

The modified lifter arrives today and will pop that in when time allows for it. I am hoping the trigger travel will be reduced.
