My Next Purchase is a Poly .40 - Can't Decide

I am going to be buying a plastic .40 for my next handgun. I already have 9mm and .45ACP handguns and I want to expand the stable.

I have shot all of the guns in the poll except the Steyr.

I will use the gun for HD and range time, no CCW. 3 of these are SSE guns (all except PX4) and won't be available after the end of the year.

Appreciate any input to help me decide.

Really like my Glock 23 so far. Only have put 240 rounds through it but I have had no complaints or hiccups with it thus far.

If money isn't an object I'd go with the HK USP fullsize or compact in .40.

FYI, I'm a glock guy, but if you can afford it the HK is THE best way to shoot .40. Feels like a 9mm IMHO.

#2 for me would be a Glock. But honestly, after already owning a G22, I regret not just getting a G23.

I have the beretta px4 & so far out of all my handguns it's the one I shoot the most & it's also my HD gun. It's easy to take down for cleaning the safety also decocking lever is easy to use. But see what feels the best in your hand I know the beretta glock & Springfield all have removable back straps.

I haven't shot the USP .40, but that is a good call. I will try to go rent one.

I have heard allot of good things about the M&P .40. My only hesitation to choosing that is that I have an M&P9 reserved at Turners. Hopefully that shows up at some point this year before it falls off roster in August. Kind of looking for a little diversity.

If budget allows for it, another vote for H&K.... either USP or P2000. P30 if funds allow.

                        Otherwise, consider an M&P40

I'd have to say the PX4. Love how it shoots and feels in my hands.

                              Glock 22

You can also run a 9MM or a .357 SIG conversion barrel for more
