Help with CA DOJ Roster of Firearms

I've looked at the list and see this description of a Beretta 92FS Compact:

92FS Compact Type M / Blue Steel Pistol 4.3" 9mm 12/31/2014

But the manufacturer makes one in Brunition (black) finish and another in INOX (or stainless steel) finish. Are BOTH legal or only the latter?

I would say that blue steel eliminates the stainless model.
