Cbob vs Vbob?

What's the main difference? Is a Vbob worth $200 more then to CBob? How much should VBob go for brand-new?

Mostly more hand fitting, serations, etc. I would save up for a vbob if you must have a smaller pistol, otherwise get a full size. I own a full size valor

vbob has more hand fitting, not that the cbob is not fit well just a little bit more workmanship into a vbob. The vbob is equivalent to a valor which is their top of the line gun.

One thing to keep in mind is cbob is on the roster and vbob is not. So you may be able to find a cbob locally, a vbob will have to be SSE'd. I've seen vbobs for around 1600 or so, but you will need to add transfer fees and SSE cost.

if you can get it to around $2-300 difference between the two after all the fees, i'd spring for the vbob. Too much more than that, and might as well start looking at wilsons or ed browns. But my thoughts are if you're going to spend that kind of money of a 1911 might as well get the best in that catagory/price point. I never remember the extra money i spent, but when i buy the cheaper one, I always wonder if i should have bought the nicer one.
