I will pass on this one. The g42 fits my hand perfectly. I dont want to mess with it especially it is my ccw. Please report back to us on the base plate.

i agree with you in regards to the 42 fitting perfectly in hand. with the factory mag inserted it also fits my hand perfectly and i can get a full purchase on the weapon. i would only run this on one of my mags and as a back up only. thats the only reason i have been searching for a +1 or +2 base plate.

i got the base plate in the mail. now i just have to wait to pick up my 42.

heres some pics of it...its made of plastic. it feels like it is either lightly stippled/fuzzy. I'm Not sure if that is intentional or just how their mold the base plate.

Looks like a high capacity conversion kit to me. Even if it's not used that way, if it could be, it will probably be considered so by all 58 DAs in CA. I sure wouldn't buy one in CA after 1-1-14.

um, its a plus 1 base plate for a glock 42...the standard capacity for a glock 42 is 6 rounds. adding this will make it a maximum of 7 rounds. i think that being "afraid" to add one round to a 6 round capacity firearm is a little paranoid. JMO

The baseplate looks like it was 3d printed. Cool.

I will definitely give a range report. Especially on the function/reliability of the base plate.

That is an awesome looking collection of glock 42s! I placed an order for a PHLster skeleton holster in the beginning of March. I should be getting it soon.

The glock store has a base plate available also. It's not my thing but it's out there and they have a you tube vid for it also.

I'd be interested in 10 round mags for range use should they ever become avaliable.

It is also showing that glockstore carries glock 42 mags... I wonder if they are in stock

found a link for those that were wondering.

its nice. however i don't like how you have to modify the factory magazine in order to make it work.

Um, you're using logic to argue the law. That doesn't work in this case. If there is now or will be a 10 round extended mag that this +1 base plate fits, it'll be a criminal act to buy it after 1-1-14. This product is designed and intended to increase a magazines capacity so, I think it is a lot more black and white than rebuild kits which are not designed or intended to increase capacity of existing magazines.

Again, this is just being paranoid IMO. I have NO intention of putting this on a 10 round capacity magazine. Having said that, the ten round capacity magazines do not even exist for a glock 42 (yet). IMO there is a very slim chance that glock will even produce a factory ten round magazine. IF they do (very small if) i doubt it will be anytime soon, as they are having enough trouble keeping up with the demand for the actual gun and the two 6 round magazines that come with it. aside from the 33 round magazine, glock has yet to produce an alternative capacity magazine for any of their firearms. the most that they have done is slap a plus 2 base plate on one of their existing mags. i believe that that is the most we will see out of glock for a factory extended mags for the glock 42. As for aftermarket mags, even if they are produced, i will not buy them as i only buy factory mags.
