Building Multiple Slides For One 1911 Frame

I'm thinking for doing this. I'm building a compensated slide right now and thinking of getting a 9mm long slide in 6 inches with an Aristocrat rib with building adjustable sight. Also thinking about getting a Kimber .22 long rifle slide as well.Would like to know if this is better then getting multiple 1911 and building one by one

Building a frame wouldnt be much more money.
You would have to changed ejector when changing calibers.

Can you use the same ejector for.45 ACP for 9mm ?
