I have a 98% condition 38-44 Outdoorsman and want to know what they go for , really. ive seen from 900-1600. I believe it dates to 1952?

I saw a non-Outdoorsman in VG condition (almost bought it) at Contra Costa Collectibles in Walnut Creek a couple years ago for $800. Had the original gold box and was a pre-war, I think. That's as cheap as I've ever seen one. Don't think I've seen one actually sell for more than $1200.
I think the pre-war models tend to bring a bit more, but it just depends.
There are a number of people (two already on this thread
who would probably take a hard gander at this if you decide to sell it.
