    What $200 got me...

I recently traded a buddy of mine my mosin nagant for a 1969 ruger Blackhawk 357 magnum. I know it's a bad trade on his part but he really loved how my mosin nagant was in great condition and had all matching parts. I took the 357 to the range and it shot like a dream.
good trade on my part considering i only paid 200 for the mosin

definitely a good trade for you.
I like to stag horn grips, but I've never seen a trigger like that on a Ruger single action.not that I am super familiar with Ruger single actions.

its not stock, so he's probably put in some some custom parts.

He also a 41 cal ruger Blackhawk and I liked those grips better so I had him switch them. The trigger on the other hand I'm not to sure about.

Nice Old Model Blackhawk---the device on the trigger is called a "trigger shoe"---makes the trigger wider for those that dislike the skinny factory trigger. The "stag" grips look like plastic repos, not real stag...

A very nice firearm, in any case.
                    You made a good trade.
I predict many, many, hours of good enjoyment.

Trigger looks like it has a shoe on it I forgt who made them, used to see them on Smiths a lot in the old days.

                          Old Model. Nicely done.

OM - has no transfer bar, so don't load 6 bullets... Up to you, verify yourself tho... Ruger will have a manual, and if not on their website, they will mail you one. I bet if you ask they will put in a transfer bar and refurb the whole gun.. They offered that to me on a 1958 Single Six (for FREE), but I sold it to a collector for what I paid for it...
