COE + FFL03 + SSE

But, as legal as it apparently is... it seems to be one of those "on the radar" things... I tend to like being unnoticed... *this isn't to imply anyone else should have concerns though (had to mention that, since drama sometimes unfolds when a personal concern is mentioned )

You can definitely do this with the combination of FFL3+COE+SSE. From what I have read, here on Calguns, you are also exempt from the 1-in-30 rule for any C&R pistols ...

I am not sure about firearms on the roster however. Maybe someone here can chime in and set the record straight:

Are you exempt from the 1-in-30 for all on-roster handguns if you have a COE+FFL3?

I believe the 1-in-30 exemption is roster-agnostic, i.e., it doesn't care if the handgun is on the roster or not. Using it in conjunction with SSE is just a way of giving the state two big fat middle fingers rather than just one.

This combo is going to be very useful later in the year to get everything I want as we will likely lose SSE next year.

I like to think that the 1 in 30 exempt is a bonus on top of being able to get C&R stuff shipped to your door (which is why I want to/would get both). I believe it's about a 3 month delay to get the FFL03 though.

You're 1-in-30 exempt, period. On-roster, off-roster (with exemption or SSE), modern, C&R, whatever.

And you're exempt from the 10-day wait for C&R handguns/long guns DROS'd from an 01FFL. I think that's my favorite part, especially since we in CA have to have C&R handguns from OoS transffred through an 01FFL. Saves a lot of time.
