I don't have any pictures but I've had my G30 for over a year and it's been a great gun. Not a single issue with it, and it eats any ammo I've fed it from factory loads to reloads.
I did added a Talon grip tape to it to help my grip from slipping

Any experience with the "hoardy" ammo in the glock??

Also, are the talens hard to put on? (the video on their page seems easy)

My 30s is as perfect as all my other glocks.

My 30 is tough and reliable. It's the bulldog in my Glock collection. It is a blocky handful which I actually like because you need a good grip to hold on to it when it barks. Mine and a few others have found their 30's don't feed SWC well but will feed on any thing else with no problem. New 10 round mags are difficult to top off but if you keep them loaded for a few weeks the springs will fatigue enough to where it's not a problem. Mag extensions are helpful by giving you another finger hold to secure the gun in recoil.

Are these good pocket guns? I mean would this be something you could easily roll to a Friday night dinner with the family with this in your pocket?

I have been researching the different variations also. Seems the 30s and Gen 4 30 have the same slide width but the 30s is 3oz lighter. I'm more concerned with slide width for comfortable carry with less bulk so I'm looking to get the Gen 4 30 and it comes with 3 mags.

As for a pocket gun it is big. With an IWB holster it fits me great. I can hit the target easily but due to my age and eyes the factory sights got replaced.

Can't speak for G30s but I have had a Glock 30sf for a while and love it. Pocket carrying it would be impossible though, at least for me- It's a small .45 but certainly not THAT small

Mine runs perfect and I also shoot lead reloads with the LoneWolf barrel.

This configuration runs a 13 round preban from my 1993 Glock 21 (gen 2) with a magazine extension.

In .45 ACP you can't beat Glock 30 or 21.

My G30 is very accurate. This one is not the SF (short frame) model but I have large hands. I do have the SF models for my newer G 20s and gen 4 G21. (Gen 4 Glocks are short frame out of the box).

I love the G30. The grip suits me well. The contour on the bottom of the stock mag gives me a complete grip. Ten rounds of 45acp in such a compact package is an engineering feat. And I don't think the gun gives up anything to it's larger relations. One of the best guns in the Glock lineup.
