Tax returns are coming back, and ill finally have the extra cash to buy a centerfire pistol. Ive been in severe debt recently due to hospital care a few months ago (was attacked and stabbed) , so im looking to spend around $300, or less if possible . Ive been doing researchon youtube and what not, and ive found some that I like that sell for this price range (used). Please give me your opinions, or other recommendations.

S&W SW9VE
Bersa Thunder Pro 9
Sig P250

Any others you would add to the list?? Any of these you would remove from the list?? Im strictly looking for 9mm at this point.

I have a SW9VE.... It's pretty damn reliable. Over 3k rounds of mixed ammo and she's good. She hiccuped the first 200-300 rounds, but after that, all was good. I upgraded the guide rod and springs with Wolff springs just for the heck of it, small improvement in the trigger pull.

I had a Ruger P95 that I sold. I liked it a lot, but I didn't use it as often. She was built like a tank and was ALWAYS reliable. Both are good choices I think.

I really like ~250 ish price point ive been seeing on the smith. The P95 also looks good, I just watched some youtube reviews. Im hearing the smith has a heavy trigger pull tho

Oh yeah, that's why I upgraded the springs, to try and lessen it. Sort of helped, I probably lost about 3 pounds, which now puts it at about 8 or 9. LoL. IT's not that bad though.

My sigma was flawless.
Trigger pull was the longest and hardest I've ever felt.
If you can shoot that, you can shoot anything.
Very glock like at a good price.

I had a p95 and all it did was jam. Stove piped every round I put through it. Sssooo I sold it for $400 and bought a Sig P226

I can vouch for the P95 and Sw9ve. I own both and both are dead on reliable. No jams ever. Buy with confidence.

Smith and Wesson SW9VE. They are an improvement over the Sigma, although some people thought they were junk, I had one and had put upwards of 1k rounds through it and it performed flawlessly. I saw one used at Front Sight and there was never an issue with it. It feels good in the hand and the price is right. A gun doesn't have to be expensive to be great.

I have 2 P89's and I have owned a P95 in the past. Totally overbuilt pistols, unbreakable and flawless operation under all circumstances.

The P95 and Sigma are probably close in price point, but IMHO the Ruger is a far better deal.

The first time I saw a P94 I thought of an old '67 F250 I once had. I swear the body was made up of 1/8" thick steel.

I don't think the $300 budget will get a used Glock. All the sales I've seen on the market place ask for a minimum of $500 starting. But if you can find a used Glock for $300, I would jump on that deal!!
