M&p 9 front sight post drifting?

So I was using my laser sight bore to adjust my laser.... Go figure. But then I notice that the bore sight was to the right of where my irons sights were. So my question is. Is it worth drifting the front sight to be in line with the bore sight? Even when I hold it to aim my irons are pointed an inch or two to the left of the laser ore sight.

Does the gun shoot where you aim it?
Otherwise you are using an uncalibrated tool to calibrate an uncalibrated tool.

Did you try rotating the bore sight at all to see if it consistently points in the same spot?
As the great warrior poet Ice Cube once said "If the day does not require an AK, it is good."

Good point will check that next. It aims good i always thought that when I was off it was my trigger pull or just my error but look at the sight picture being off made me second guess. And I only have the laser cuz it's a trl4. I don't it's the laser. I mainly shoot steel. No paper but I plan to next time I got out.

Hi, I'm no expert but I have 2 S&W MP 9's. I've probably shoot them about 4 times, maybe 100 rounds each. At about 25 ft, I tend to shoot them both an inch or two high & to the left. I was thinking I need to figure out how to shoot straight, then I used my wife's Ruger SR9C and I shot 2 mags pretty much dead on. I didn't really want to mess with the factory set sights on the SW MP9's until I knew more about what I was doing (I don't have a laser, yet). So just sort of curious what you find out. I guess I need some type of firing stand at the range to work this out.

I even had my stock irons replaced with trijicon night sights.

I might call smith and ask them how much to take a look at it. I'm going to measure my front sight post.
