handgun/rifle transfer into SD How much?

Interested in a transfer from another state, shipped to San Diego. What SD city ffl's are good & what should I expect to pay. I called one shop they said 100$ plus tax & DROS, seems pricey to me. A reasonable deal in SD county would be nice. Never had one shipped, but want to, Thanks!

There's plenty of threads about what shops are good in San Diego. Some places charge $100+. Gusslers charges $70. Parallax charges $65 for a rifle, $70 for a handgun. Those are going to be about the cheapest you can pay these days. Gusslers used to be $55. Totally depends on what part of town you live in, cause gas and your time are usually worth more than what you are going to save.

Give Wiser Owl a call. Last time I checked, out of state transfers cost the same as PPTs; $35.

Don Gussler in Santee. I think he's about $45 for the whole process.

Another vote for Gusslers in Santee. He runs his biz out of his garage, but he only charges $40 for transfer and $25 for DROS.

lol. 3 different people and 3 different costs for Gussler's.

Guys, check his webpage. New price is $45 + DROS ($25).

Wiser Owl used to be $35 then they ran out of safe space, so they upped the price. May still want to give them a call, but I don't believe they are doing the $35 thing any longer.

Duncan's guns in San Marcos charged me about $150 or more a few years ago to receive a stripped lower receiver. I know better now. Will never spend another $0.01 in that place.

Come into Ambrose Armory in Escondido. We will charge 55 bucks plus DROS.

Duncans wants 100+ DROS + tax. Owl want 75$ for DROS/Transfer + tax, seems pretty good. 800$ Rifle, so I'd like a decent deal. I'll call the Santee dude. Appreciate the help.

Parallax Tactical charges $40 for rifles and $45 for handguns, plus DROS and tax.

I've had positive experiences with Parallax Tactical and Gussler's. Keep in mind Gussler's is only open 4 days of the week; Mon, Tue, Thur, & Fri. So depending on which day you start the DROS you might have to wait more than 10 days to pick up your firearm.
