Spec's on Sig 1911 barrel bushing

    I have a Sig 1911 TTT

Does anyone know the bushing size for upgrade?
Was thinking about trying a Briley spherical bushing. The drop in come in different sizes for full size gov. .578 thru .582

No specs listed in Sig book or on their web site. No contact email address listed on Sig website.

Any help or insight on the Briley bushing appreciated.

You generally need to measure your particular slide opening and barrel when ordering match bushings as the dimensions often vary a small amount from pistol to pistol and you're dealing with a fit that's measured to 1 thousandth of an inch. An inexpensive dial or digital caliper usually works fine.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"
