Yeah I think Walther Arms in Arkansas is up and running now. The one I got is dated for 2013.

Did they ship them with the magazines or without?

Can anyone speak to the P99 AS vs PPQ trigger? I own a PPQ and looking into picking up this one for a few reasons, but will the trigger be disappointing?

I did an extensive P99/PPQ breakdown when I got my P99 in December. Hope this clears some things up for you.

In short, the P99's SA trigger pull will feel very similar for PPQ owners.

This'll have to be SSE'd as the P99 has fallen off the extortion list safe handgun roster. They'll probably have to take out the mags too.

Still worth it, though. The P99AS is an awesome pistol.

The one in the link you posted is for a black one. According to the DOJ website, only the Military Green and Desert Sand are still on roster. Is it possible to buy a black one if it's not specifically listed?

No I don't think so - has to be exact model on the roster.

Nope. It's gotta be the exact same SKU.

I hoped Walther would've kept paying the extortion fee.

Or at least gotten ppq's in for us.

Glad I have my P99 in jail now

Could I do a SSE for this?
