Love my Glock 30S. I would highly recommend one or a G30 Gen 4.

Here is a pick to show how slim it is.

If you're going to carry it, I'd go with the 30S because of the slimmer slide. I'm not sure what the price difference is going to be.
If you buy anything because it has "tactical" or "operator" in the name, we probably don't run in the same circles.

        Any difference in the recoil?

I read on a search online that the G30S recoils slightly more than the thicker slide G30/G30SF.

I'll have to google the link.

The 30S has less slide mass than the G30 so it only makes sense that the recoil will be more from a physics perspective. Quantifying the perceived increase is a different story though since recoil energy on paper does not necessarily equate to perceived recoil in the hand.

Now if only I could find some 9 round flush fitting magazines. I emailed Glock and a rep told me that they still make them. I thought they were discontinued.

Googled the part number (MGGL30009) and it was listed in stock in the first site on the search result. Here you go.

No affiliation with that company. I'd verify with an email or call first. Price is pretty good. Not sure what the shipping is.

I bought my glock 30sf two yrs ago. I found a 9 rounder at warrior one in riverside. Overall pretty happy with the glock. Shoots pretty good out of the box.

I had a G30, sold it awhile back. The recoil is about the same, can't tell much of a difference.

I added to my cart and got the following:
                        1 mag: $15 shipping
                        2 mags: $30 shipping
                        4 mags: $60 shipping.

Botach has the mags supposedly in stock at the same price, with free shipping. Yeah, have to pay tax, and I know some people have had issues with them, but I'd risk that then $60 for shipping.
