    Glock Blue Label ?'s

Just found out about the Glock blue label program. I am an EMT and it looks like I qualify to buy a blue label Glock. My problem is.... Everywhere I've called around Ventura county doesn't have blue labels in stock but they are a part of the blue label program. I found one gun shop in LA that has a glock 27 (gen 3) blue label. They want 525 before tax and background tho. Which is 25 more than Island View Enterprise normal priced Glock 27. A LE buddy of mine has been buying blue labels for years and he said that Glock recommends selling them for 389 before tax and background.

    My question is...

Where around Ventura might have them in stock? And what is an acceptable price on a blue label Glock 26/27 gen 3.

    Side note:

I am an EMT and work as one. I think it's great that Glock offers this to first responders as well as LEO. However, I do feel somewhat conflicted because I don't think I'll ever have to put my life on the line like an LEO would. I almost feel like I don't deserve to be a part of this program. But if Glock says I can be then I won't question them!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Not sure about around your area. But PRK in Fresno is part of the program.

Have you checked gunbroker? It seems like you can buy a new G27 Gen3 + shipping + FFL fee for about the same price.

I've bought two through the blue label program. My understanding is they will sub out the 10 plus round magazines for 10 rounders and should not up the price from the blue label price. If they do that's shameful. Don't feel bad it's a great deal afforded to responders and when the day comes I can carry at work my 27 will be on my ankle.

Blue label prices have gone up recently. I think the average price for a small frame with standard sights is $425.

I know Pro Force in Brea isn't that close to Ventura but I think they have a steady stream of blue labels there.

If you were in San Diego there's a few shops that have blue label in stock.

Blue Label pricing is the same for GSSF and is here: http://www.gssfonline.com/GSSF_Pisto...nformation.pdf. Scroll to last page. Gen 3 pricing is the same as Gen 4. G27 is $425.

Scroll to the bottom of the pricing page. Blue Label comes with 3 mags (except compacts). Some dealers have been shorting the mags.

Blue labels have large cap mags which will be substituted with 10 rds.

                  Best.

Thanks for all the reply's. Problem is... I drive an f350 and if I leave Ventura county to get a blue label then I'm going to use that money I'm saving on gas haha. Realizing I would have to drive to the shop once to purchase and then again to pick it up 10 days later.

I called this morning. They don't have any in stock. And they are kinda far away.

Blue label dealers can order weapons. They are subject to availability, but it can be done.

They are not open to the public, only for Gov/Mil/LE/Fire/EMT.
So, you need to show your Fire/EMT ID, in order to get in the door.

                            Glock 26/27 = $398.20
                            Glock 26/27 with night sights = $455.40

Then have them ship it to your local FFL.
