Yes another ccw thread! Recommend a subcompact?

Was thinking about finding a nice sub compact for ccw when the time comes, maybe a g26, g29, g30 or maybe a g33?? Or how about XDm or XDd 3.8??

    What do you think Calguns?

All those are good. I'm looking at getting an M&P Shield, Kahr PM9, or an HK P2000SK to go with my G19

M&P Shield seems to be pretty popular for this.

I just shot and jailed a XDs 9mm. Definitely snappier than any of my full size 9's which is to be expected. I can't imagine how the .45 feels!
I only put about 50 rounds through but oddly enough I shot it better one handed.

Glock 27 and two standard capacity reloads.

                41 rounds of .40.

I shot it in IDPA for a couple years. Very easy to shoot.

Oh, and it cost me $5.00.

                Literally.

I've had a ccw going on 3 years and have tried a lot of different handguns. I settled on a Kahr pm9 and a Glock 27. I wear the Kahr 90% of the time since it's so comfortable.

26/27 is about the biggest I like to carry on the belt. PM9, Shield, and other single stacks would be more comfortable as well.

Also, think about something to drop in your pocket like a LCP or P380. The PM9 may fit both roles for you.

                    Good luck!

Definitely a 1911 Commander. An Ed Brown Kobra Carry LW is a good one. Or how about a Nighthawk Custom Talon II LW Bobtail? If polymer is a must, then definitely an HK USP Compact.

But if it has to be a sub-compact, then a Glock 26 or 33.

Noice. Love my G19, thinking about a M&P Shield or HK45c next. I rented a HK2000SK v3 a few months back, that thing is really accurate.

I carry my EMP every day, it's a great gun and accurate as hell.

To me the pistols you listed are compact at the most, I started off with some of those and found for "me" since I'm not used to carrying a gun, they were too big and heavy for me to be comfortable with.

If i was slim and didn't have a belly (not big but still a belly) where I'm already fighting to keep my pants from sliding down at times while im moving around, adding the weight of the pistols you mentioned just makes it worse.

I carry true sub compacts, LCP my daily carry with Buffalo Bore Ammo, Kahr PM9 and Keltec PF9, I sold my M&PC but think ill get another one for a car/truck gun.
