I picked up my 4" M2 on Monday; hope to shoot it later this week. Although the M2 trigger doesn't fare too well compared to a good 1911 trigger it does have the best stock trigger for pull and reset I've felt on a polymer striker fired handgun.
Ergonomically its light years ahead of a GLock for my particular hands. The only thing I like better on a GLock is it's slightly lower bore center."You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"
"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"Comment

Been eyeballing one for a while now. I can't find a range or know anyone with one to look at it in person. I will just envy you in the meantime. There are no stupid questions...just stupid people asking questions.Comment

I had the privilege to shoot one mag out of a PPQ. Thanks to that nice fella at the range. Very nice trigger indeed.

I can't say enough good things about the PPQ (Classic). When I held the 5" variant, I almost regretted not getting it instead. The cutouts on the top of the slide are a bit funky though, because you would expect the barrel to be ported as well. And on the third day, God created the Remington bolt-action rifle so that man could fight the dinosaurs. And the homosexuals.Comment
