well I missed out back in 09 to pick up an rtf2 at my dealer opting for the slightly lower priced gen 3, what do you guys think should I get a gen 3 rtf2 even if its about $600 or just get a gen 4 or maybe just have a real good shop stiple the grip? im thinking the 17rtf2 or the 21sf rtf2. I remember loving how it felt when I held a g19 version of the rtf2 but ive never held a gen 4 at the same time so its hard to tell. any thought? neither would be for carry I have a g26 for that.

I think I.answered my own question. the 21 rtf2 is off roster and will end up costing much more than a gen 4 21...but then I couldnt put my g20 gen 3 slide on it and have a 10mm hog zapper with an rtf2 frame.just happy to be here. I like talking about better ways to protect ourselves.

I have both, gen 4 17 and rtf2 17. Like the gen 4 better. The larger bumps on the 4 work as good as the small ones on the rtf, but are more comfortable and don't grab cover clothing like the small rtf bumps.Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.Comment

Rtf texture is rough so you might like it if you sweat a lot, but if not then get 4th gen.Comment

RTF on left, GEN4 on right. I didnt like the RTF because it was way too aggressive. Sold it and replaced it with another GEn4
