Last summer, I started shopping around for a CZ sp01 after reading how much everyone liked theirs. Ended up in Barnwood one day but all they had was a compact CZ and their rental CZ was getting worked on so I couldn't test drive it. Fondled the compact for a bit but walked out empty handed. On my way home later I went to a new-ish shop in Lodi (can't remember the name).

Counter guy was really helpful. Showed me a glock, berretta storm and a ruger sr9c. I really liked the way the Ruger felt but still wasn't sure. Plus I was still holding out for the sp01.

Looked around some more but couldn't find a CZ to save my life. Ended up getting the sr9c last december but hadn't shot until today. Man I really like that pistol. I have seen a lot of unhappy folks but it just seems to fit my hand. Now I can't wait to take a pistol course.

Now here's why I hate you. All happy and wanted to recount my joy with my new pistol and what do I see? CZ threads galore. And then I remembered that I never got around to finding that sp01. Like I need another pistol.

Problem is once you get one SP-01, you just can't stop. Think I have 5 different variants now. Close to 10 CZ's all together, or maybe 10, dunno, lost count. But the Glocks and Sigs are feeling mighty left out in the last year or so.

So I guess I probably shouldn't tell you that my SP-01 is the most intuitive and naturally pointable extension of my hand that I've ever had the good fortune to fire and own, and the grips feel like they were made from my hands grabbing a lump of clay and molding it onto my natural shooting grip?
