    first 250rds Glock 42

Got to take my new glock 42 out yesterday. Ran 150rds of Winchester white box. Ran 100%. No malfunctions. Ran 50rds of a black box of Winchester black box from bass pro. No malfunctions. It was noticeably hotter than the WWB. Ran 50rds of Winchester ranger 95gr standard pressure. My wife had the slide lock back twice with this ammo. It turned out to be her thumb placement. Under recoil her thumb bumped the slide stop up and caused the lock back. This was the with the ranger that also had the most recoil. She changed her thumb placement and didn't have anymore malfunctions. All in all it was reliable little gun.I know people bash the size but I have a keltec p3at and it not fun to shoot. My wife has a lot of trouble shooting it well. I think Glock hit a home run in the women's market. My wife can shoot this as good as her 26. It will be a good addition to her permit when a smaller thinner gun is needed. I will put another 200 thre it before it ever gets used as a carry gun but I'm very pleased with the results. I pick up my 41 with NS Thursday I'm just hoping its perfect out of the box likeall my other glocks have been.

Thanks. Accuracy? How's the trigger compared to the 26?

Accuracy was pretty good once you get used to how slim it is. Trigger feels like a standard glock with maybe a pound more over my broke in glocks. Will probably get a little lighter in the 500+ round count. Reset and everything else is great just like a standard glock. It does take a few mags to keep from shooting left. My hand swallow up this little pistol and takes some effort not to have your trigger finger in to far. When I settled down and got used to it I was shooting 1.5" group at 7yrds. If you do your part gun is very accurate. Never can shoot my p3at that good.

Went to Elite Arms in Manteca yesterday and handled a Glock 42. I am not a Glock fan but, great little gun just just fondling it. Thanks for the report!

I just do not understand the appeal of 380.

Island View in Ventura has one. It's smaller and slimmer than I imagined but not as small as the LCP. I wish it as a bit bigger.
