Where can you get a AR- Pistol upper?? I know I would have to make it single shot by blocking the mag, but all the manufactures seem to tell me they wont ship them to California!

yep,
making it a bolt action is not a requirement for getting it through DROS.
all you need for that is to pin a single shot sled, or mag block in place.
6+ inch barrel, 10.5+ inch overall length
the bolt action conversion is just so you can use high cap mags in it.Comment
