Older S&W revolver to S&W repairs

I have an older S&W model 66 in need of repair.

I contacted Smith and they are sending me a prepaid mailing label for evaluation and repair.

My question is with all the new Off Roster garbage here will they be able to return it repaired directly to me? It will be the same gun - same frame - same serial number etc..

I know that in the past (before roster) they could send it back to the non ffl'd sender.

Yea, they'll send it directly to you.

If it was a change of serial number, or something like that, it would need to go through an ffl. Therefore, creating a problem
