    Which semi-auto would you buy...

    ...and why?

Would it be to round out a collection? Or purely for investment? HD or concealed carry? Hunting or target shooting? Maybe for training a youngster in your family? Or for your Bride?

My next handgun is going to be a Springfield Range Officer. I have been wanting well built 1911 that I can build on.
If I had to describe myself in one word it would be "bad at following directions"

Next on the list is a sig 227

Why? Because I don't have one... It might make it into the HD category, would have to take it through a class first

Sig P226 9mm. Because I've been wanting one for the last few years but didn't want to spend the money for it. Now that I've pretty much bought what I've wanted it's last on my pistol list.

I should get a Glock but I'll buy CZ's first if they are available. Why? Low bore axis, less muzzle flip, weight of all metal construction, except for the Phantom, P-07, and P-09, accurate, best DA/SA trigger when fcg is polished, great resale value, good aftermarket support. CZ only gets each model in small batches each year.

Glock 19 because it is easily concealable, it has very low recoil, it is reliable and shoots accurately right out of the box

CZ 75 in high polish stainless great gun and have always wanted one and not too expensive. But money not being a factor I'll say a Nighthawk custom

My primary "gotta have" ones are: Mauser C96 Broomhandle, Luger P08, WWI-WWII 1911, older Hi Power, maybe a Webley or Enfield revolver or WWII P38. Not feeling the "need" for any modern guns at the moment, satisfied the urge with the RIA (still love it). That being said, if I stumbled upon an RIA in 38 Super for a price close to what I got the .45 for - i'd probably go for it

I don't plan on buying any more handguns. The next thing will be an AR, most likely the Colt 6920. The reason being is that I'm not into revolvers, so there's no desire there and my 9mm and .45 handguns are solid examples for their calibers. I'll just be spending money on ammo to feed my stable for now.
