They had a spotty reputation for reliability and some experienced galling between the frame and slide so good lubrication is a must. That said I wish I still had the one I sold long ago just so I could build a "terminator" model pistol

I have no idea what they sell for nowdays, you would probably have to check someplace like Gunbroker's completed auctions.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"

"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark"

      Here ya go -

My IAI Javelina Long-Slide 10mm with Laser Sighting..

I've owned this pistol since new, purchased in 1986. No Problems, No Galling. Lubed with Mobil 28 grease.< info below>

Only one recurring issue, ever: it stove-piped PMC 10mm ammo.

All other commercial 10mm ammo fed and cycled flawlessly.

IMHO, it is a very good firearm.

The Laser Sight is a functional Green Laser, which I modified to mimic the look of the Terminator Movie Gun.

The "Right to Keep and Bear Arms" was not created by the 2nd Amendment; it was merely an acknowledgement of an existing, un-Alienable Right

UN-ALIENABLE - Defined by Webster as: incapable of being alienated, surrendered, or transferred .
