    zev tech trigger question

I just jailed a GEN4 glock 17 thanks to steve @ oc firearms, he was a great guy to deal with i can recommend him enough. Anyways can you guys give me some feedback on the zev tech fully adjustable trigger. This is NOT my defensive weapon, it will be just a range gun and i am toying with the idea of trying some idpa shoots.

It will be an improvement over the stock Glock trigger for target shooting. However, the fully adjustable might take you out of Stock Service Weapon division for IDPA (most common place to begin) because there are commonly external screws on the trigger to remove over-travel.

Look at the Ghost Rocket Trigger Connector, It eliminates over-travel (will a little manual removal of material) without changing the trigger itself.

Also there are many other things you can do to a glock if you know you are going to just be target shooting it.

Glock Parts and Glock Acessories are the world's best by Ghost inc. Buy Glock parts and Glock accessories like Glock connectors, Glock triggers, Glock baseplate, Glock factory parts, Glock bullet slide releases, Glock springs and spring kits, Glock Spring Cups, and grip plugs for Glocks.

Id suggest shooting the glock for a bit with the stock trigger to get a good feel of it and Then if you are looking to upgrade and wanting to do some comp shooting such as idpa I think the zev tech standard complete kit would be ideal because it is still legal for idpa and uspsa and it still allows you to adjust travel and trigger weight as well. You'll also appreciate the craftsmanship of zev's trigger that much more if you shoot with the stock trigger for a bit then swap it out. I personally have one in my g17 and shoot idpa with it and I love the zev's trigger. It rings in at about $130 which isn't bad.

Others told me to upgrade right away but i really wanted to appreciate the difference in the trigger so I personally shot with the stock trigger for a year then upgraded it and I love it.
