No SSE is needed the FFL can either make mags to 10 rounders or not give you mags. some ffls will block mags. The nine stands for stand cap mags and 0 for 10 rounders, I talked to 3 different FFL's in the bay area and you do not have to SSE it is on the roster, I picked mine up today, and it was the 91152 they gave me some money off to take it with no mags.

You just need to check with your individual FFL, some require it some don't.

My SP-01 came in last Thursday and I wont get it until mid March...

$754.98 OTD for New + $8 (to block 2 normal capacity magazines to 10 rnd)

Anyone know of a better place than $607 shipped and a better place to for transfer and SSE fees that would be lower than $75?

Nope. BTW, when I started my DROS my guy showed me the DOJ screen that made no distinction between SP-01's. Thus, no SSE required. We shared a chuckle.

Can't find a FFL in my area who doesn't require a SSE for the CZs starting with a 9 in product code. If anyone knows of one in SFV or thereabouts please PM me.
