Chambered in .380, looks like a 1911, feels good in the hand and easy to conceal. Probably will run about 300 more rounds through it and carry it as a backup.

Keep hoping I'll find one of those in 9mm, .380 would be my next choice.
I have the .22 version. My dad bought it in '57 and it's my younger daughter's favorite gun.
For what it's worth - accounts seem to vary on fit and quality from Llama to Llama.
Some have no problems, like mine, other people seem to have a lot of problems.
But if your's runs good, no problem - enjoy.

I shot about 50 rounds through it today, then decided to get it home and clean it really really good before I shoot it some more.

I love the size and it fits nicely in my hand.
If any of you guys have one of these or have some spare parts lying around, it would be nice to get an extra mag.
The mag that came with it is not in great shape.

Which 9x19 Llama are you referring to,the IX-B? I have one of those, basically a Colt Commader clone in 9x19. The smaller guns come in .22lr,.32acp and .380acp of which I own two. I have been wanting the .22lr version. The one in the pic looks like an older version, maybe a IIIa.

My neighbor opened his lately departed fathers safe and found that same gun. He brought it over to me to inspect and clean no more than 8 hours ago! It is a nice gun... it looks as if someone used a shrink-ray on a 1911.

The newer Llama Micro max before the company went belly up were quite decent. Mine doesn't jam and it feeds hydra shok fine. The 3/4 or less scale 1911 pattern appeals to me. Very slim and fun to shoot.

Your right it does look 2 D probably because the owners holding it in away it looks like its balancing on top of his hand. Rack the slide and then we will know for sure.
