    Glock 21SF question.

Looking a picking up a Gen 3 21SF soon. Are the new Glocks still having ejecting problems? The whole brass to the face issue. Or has that been corrected? Was it just Gen 4 9mm only? I haven't been keeping up with it.

The Gen 3 guns never had any issue that I was aware of. I have a Gen 2 and 3 G21 and have no issues with either.

Generally speaking, the Gen 3 G21 SF's are not known to have that issue. The only issue I know of regarding that gun is that it likes to shoot lots of .45 ACP ammo, which is expensive

Go for it if it will make you happy!

My 21SF is from '12 and has never had issues. Love shooting the pistol.

My dads gen3 Glock 19 had the bad extractor/brass to face... purchased early 2013. So yes, it affected Gen3's as well. He picked up a newer G21sf a few months ago, no problems..

I have a Gen3 21sf and 19 and I will occasionally get popped in the forehead with a spent case. For the most part though, they get tossed everywhere else but my brass catcher.

My Gen 3 21SF functions and ejects flawlessly. I will admit that I know not of this "brass to face" phenomenon of which you speak as I am left handed and all the empties pass harmlessly over my right shoulder. Seriously, I have not had nor have I heard of that issue (other than in this thread!) involving the G21.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I think the issues related to the later Gen 3 and early Gen 4 Glocks ejection problems were mostly isolated to the 9mm variants. I have a later Gen 4 G17 and have not had any ejection issues through about 1500 rounds so I'm assuming most of the problems were corrected.

My 21sf will pop me in the forehead about every 100rds.
going to take it to the Glockstore and give it a look .

Never had a problem with my glock. Most reliable hand gun I own.

I was not aware the G21 in any generation ever had brass to face issues.

I've got a gen 3 Glock 21 that is a couple years old and I have had absolutely zero issues with it.
