Took the new Kimber Eclipse Target II out for the third time today. It functioned fine for the first 200 rounds; incredibly accurate, by the way. After about 200 rounds the slide did not always slingshot a new mag first round into battery. I attribute this to the gun needing lube and becoming dry. The slide fits VERY tightly, so it appears to need lube, at least during the break-in period.
The gun is a total joy to shoot and has in fact de-throned my Colt Gold Cup as my "best" gun.
Did I mention that this sucker is accurate?
