I heard rumors that Sig is developing a striker fired handgun. If this is real, I hope it will be in an alloy frame so that it is different from their competitors.

They're not rumors. The P320 will be a modular, striker fired pistol. It looks like the fire control group is going to be the serialized firearm.

So it is not an alloy frame. The bore axis is still high for a striker fired system. I am guessing the street price would be $450.
